Prototype to Reality
The Clarisonic Opal Sonic Infusion System combines sonic infusion technology with an Anti-Aging Sea Serum to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Because of OC's understanding of the Clarisonic brand, we were invited to the table very early on in the Opal product development process. Sitting with the original product designers, OC listened, learned, and made product design recommendations — pebble-shaped, feminine, ergonomically correct — to appeal to Opal's female audience.
After weighing in on the product design, OC applied brand strategy to this product, developing brand architecture for Clarisonic to accommodate this new product line and establishing unique messaging and positioning for Opal. This strategy helped to establish Opal as a stand-alone product among a suite of sonic skin care products.
OC is currently helping Clarisonic to bring this product to market through online marketing, professional advertising and consumer advertising.
